Our name is: ReVoLuTiOn
Revolution: Is defined as a radical, sudden, complete or marked change in something. We are a group of young adults radically and completely changed by God's love, hope and peace. We have devoted our lives to God which means there is a marked change within us - we no longer live life for ourselves but for God.
Our vision: To create and equip disciples of Christ who will give their life to see this generation revolutionised for God!
Our heart: We have a heart to see the young people in Dundee become passionate for Jesus, and to see them filled with Gods love, hope and peace. We want to take this city back for God. No more apathy, no more darkness, no more violence and drunkenness - we want to see Jesus Lifted High!!
We meet every Tuesday night in Ryan & Danielle's, at 7:30 pm. Once a month we do a social night out.
What are we studying?:
Currently we are studying the basics of the bible. We are working our way through a Discipleship Training Course. The first book is called "My New Life" - it takes us through what God has already done to ensure that we will keep growing as his precious children. It also covers the fundamentals of being both a disciple and a disciple maker. The second book is called "My Awesome God" - it takes us through Gods marvellous character, and we explore the enormity of God as Father, Son and Holy Spirit. The third book is called "My Intimate Relationship" - it is designed to ground us as growing disciples in the immense blessings of being immersed in a life of soaking in God's Word, and in prayer. The fourth book is called "My mission from God" - this book explores the tasks that God has left for us here on planet earth. We look at being a witness, an ambassador and a faithful manager of God's gifts and blessings. Finally the fifth and final book is called "My personal obedience" - this book focuses on areas of personal obedience and challenges disciples to put on the new life that is theirs in Christ Jesus.
